An Event That’s Out of This World
A real estate developer was saddled with an 118,000 square-foot building in an overbuilt market. And it was empty. Brokers had been open-housed to death and could have papered their walls with the brochures they’d received. Their challenge to us: lure a single tenant from the caverns of Manhattan to the meadows of New Jersey. We attracted
more than 300 people to a presentation by Astronaut James Lovell on the leasing of outer space. The invitation was aready-for-framing poster, that also included a promise of a glimpse of Halley’s Comet – okay, so that didn’t materialize, but we never said we were infallible. Among the crowd who attended was the one prospect who signed a lease for the entire building. |
